new vocab, USC ed.

tbt New Hampton School

These words populate my speech now:

Isometric, axon, section, elevation, NY Five, scale, viewport, contour, undo, plotter, Dulce, Jetty, Nestlé, 舅舅舅媽, I-5, 110, 60 W, Atlantic Blvd., The Hat, KCRW, K-town, M.Arch, export, Make2D, params, pin-up, measure-twice-cut-once, foam core, museum board, Olfa, paper cut, turkey club, and fighting on, and on, and on...

Week four of architecture school begins, and I can't sleep because I finished a mocha at 9p, and now realize that I have 166 more of these turbulent weeks to go.

In the meantime, here's this summer's fruit, and probably the last thing I'll draw by hand for a while. For Julianne:

Some source material:
As seen on Julianne's counter

As seen in Mr. Sunshine and on a KBBQ napkin: Irworobongdo

Jurby's Brownie, my muse

Where else but at home can one sit peacefully and draw for hours? 166 weeks, hurry by, please.
(Even though home hours mostly pass like this.)
